Movie review: Kink

Take a look inside and the people who work there. See the other side of fetish films, bondage, and more in this brief documentary.

Peter Acworth, Maitresse Madeline, Chris Norris, Tomcat, Princess Donna, Van Darkholme, Jessie Lee, Fivestar, Orlando, Matt Williams, John Paul, Jessie Colter, Mr. Pete, Josh West, Remy

Kink is a documentary about, one of the largest BDSM content producers around. The film takes a look at the sets, setup, and direction that go into their films, along with an introduction to some of the folks making it all happen.
For those new to kink this documentary isn't going to do much for you. Fetishes aren't explored so much as the prep work that goes into filming a scene, and the people being filmed. It was nice to hear those working on these films enjoy their work as much as they do. It was even nicer to understand more about the concern and respect given to the actors, their desires, and limits.

As this was a documentary about actors I doubt we could begin to know what was real and what was acting.

Camera work was good with nice clear, centered shots as would be expected. Sets and backgrounds appeared to be those being used in the films. Dialogue was decent though a bit more depth would have been nice. Sound was clear.

While it is interesting to see behind the scenes a bit, the focus is on It is easy to question whether the ethics seen here are prevalent in the industry. Though not really about kink in the BDSM sense, it is an interesting documentary.

With plenty of graphic nudity including bondage and pain, and a lot of foul language, this should be reserved for adults and above.
