Starring the build team from MythBusters; Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, and Kari Byron, the White Rabbit Project team explores technology, inventions before their time, weapons and heists.
Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, Kari Byron
White Rabbit Project, while interesting, is like MythBusters without the two lead characters. The series feels like MythBusters with added suspense and drama to make things more exciting and similar to current Reality TV. Sadly it feels like the science is lost in the process, and the overly dramatic sidetracks detract from audience engagement. Again, although the series is mildly entertaining it feels very contrived and overly dramatic.
Exploring things like annoying tech gadgets, WW2 weapons, scams and heists the series proves, disproves, or simply judges different aspects of science and their results.
Grant, Tory, and Kari do a reasonable job of acting as usual.
Camera work, sets, and backgrounds were good. Dialogue was a bit campy and often lacking scientific data. Sound was solid.
Overall White Rabbit Project is mildly entertaining. Those hoping for a revision of MythBusters, or a behind the scenes look at the build team, will likely be disappointed. Those who like a bit of drama with their science should enjoy this one.
Nothing here to limit audience age.
