Ben and Lisa are a pair of reporters who stumble across a twisted invasion plot by space aliens. As the two follow the conspiracy they quickly don't know who to trust and although they know the solution, implementation could be more difficult than they expected.

This one kicks off nicely with some good plot setup action and character development before falling back on special effects and action to keep the film interesting. As the plot loses solidity the film turns into a generic sci-fi with an ending that most will see coming well ahead of time.

Acting by Bellows, Roy and Dinsmore was decent if unexciting as were performances by most of the supporting cast. Nelson was back as a bit of a nutball which seems to fit him well. I was surprised by Rossellini who had crummy lines and was made to look about as unappealing as possible, a serious waste of her talents.

Camera work, sets and backgrounds were all nicely done and the film appears to have had a nice budget. Special effects were well done if a bit overdone once the full blown CGI kicked in. Less would have been so much more with this one. Dialogue was okay and sound was well done.

Overall this ends up a middle-of-the-road generic sci-fi that really doesn't bring anything new to the genre. With better production the film might have been more but instead it ends up feeling generic in this area as well. Worth a watch if you are a devoted genre fan, otherwise pass for something with more quality.
