Idris Elba (Derek), Beyonce Knowles (Sharon), Ali Larter (Lisa), Jerry O'Connell (Ben), Bonnie Perlman (Marge), Christine Lahti (Detective Reese), Bruce McGill (Joe).

Derek is living the dream with a great job, friends, looks, great wife, new house, and young child. And when sexy office temp Lisa decides she wants to be a part of Derek's life things get warped and twisted in a heartbeat as she tries to seduce and destroy her way into his life.

This one starts off slow looking like another prime-time drama that will have you snoozing before the first commercial break. But when temp Lisa shows up at work things quickly get much more interesting, and sexy. As Lisa tries to pry into Derek's life, things get more and more twisted and the film gets even more interesting. The ending wasn't a complete surprise as this plot has been done before many times with only a few variations but it didn't look like the direction the film was headed either.

Acting was good from Elba and awesome from Larter who played a nutball supremely. Although she wasn't that great an actress, Knowles was surprisingly good considering what I expected. O'Connell and McGill were both lukewarm as usual.

Camera work, sets and backgrounds were all nicely done and exhibited good quality. Special effects were primarily stunts but fairly well done. Dialogue and sound were also good while soundtrack had some unusual but interesting tunes in addition to Knowles doing some singing.

Overall this was a decent yet very predictible thriller. Yes, you could find better but you could also do a lot worse. If you enjoy a nice thriller without a ton of gore, foul language, or actual sex scenes this is a good choice and a teen girl fave right now. Drop it in about the middle of your Must See list if you like the genre. Sexually suggestive content and dialogue, and minor violence but this should be fine for teens and above.
